Planted 500 indigenous shade and fruit-bearing trees along the SIPCOT corridor with drip irrigation arrangements in celebration of Gandhi Jayanti.
In honor of Gandhi Jayanti and our pledge toward environmental sustainability, Lions Club of Hosur Pride launched the Clean & Green Hosur initiative. With the active involvement of 25 Lion members and 60 student Leo volunteers, 500 native saplings (Neem, Peepal, Pongamia, and Jamun) were planted.
Protective tree guards and maintenance agreements were signed with local industrial units to ensure a survival rate exceeding 90%.
